Revalia Bio — Up to $26.7M ARPA-H Contract

Pamir Ventures portfolio company Revalia Bio has been awarded a contract of up to $26.7 million by ARPA-H, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health. Revalia will serve as the technical lead on the project, developing advanced AI-driven models trained on real human biological data to improve how drug safety and efficacy are predicted before clinical trials.
A Yale spinout, Revalia uses donated human organs unsuitable for transplant — kept functioning outside the body with normothermic machine perfusion — to run "human data trials" that give drug developers human-relevant evidence years earlier than the clinic.
More than 90 percent of drug candidates that clear animal testing still fail in human trials. Revalia's platform attacks that failure rate at its root: it replaces surrogate models with genuine human biology.
It is a milestone for a thesis we hold closely at Pamir: the most consequential AI in medicine will be trained on, and validated against, genuine human biology.
